To question your recent post regarding gender ideology, its interesting how you require "metaphors" and "feelings" to describe your justification on why someone should change their body to escape the status quo rather than actual facts that a "gendered brain/soul" exists; trans people identify as trans because they feel like it, end of story, is what im getting. However "Feelings and choices" are redundant in the case of medical malpractice and confusion due to exclusivity blankets; illness is apathetic to your feelings, if you have a prostate, you have a higher risk of experiencing prostate cancer, and if you are AFAB symptoms of illness such as heart attacks manifest in ways that are different to AMAB. And isnt it interesting we must call AFABs "uterus havers" or "birthing people" in healthcare, why is it we never refer to AMABs as "prostate havers" or "testes havers"? And heres another question, if theres no biological dymorphism or differences between sexes, why is there so much pressure on allowing access to puberty blockers? Do you presume puberty is just the growth of boobs and hair? Are you not aware hormones have an effect on brain development and bone density (growth spurts). But of course you can ignore all this, I know you will, after all its going against the status quo, youre being the "bad one" if you question anything. saying no to people is bad, saying yes to people and saying theyre valid is good, even if it harms others because in that case its their fault for doing it incorrectly, look at the reception KC Miller got explaining her personal experience and cons to taking gender affirming care. People were quite quick to ridicule her, call her ugly, call her a genetic failure, and blame *her* for "falling for it" as if it wasn't the pressure of a homophobic mother who would rather have a "Straight son" than a "Lesbian daughter" and gender ideology convincing her shes male for expressing herself as butch. https://imageproxy.ifunny.co/crop:x-20,resize:640x,quality:90x75/images/cc1cbfb87783b39ed454cc3edf834ac5641a2299f5372b7f45a5bc36b73decbc_1.jpg But thats one example you must say, that doesnt equate for all trans people. I can go all day listing examples, I can go all day showing people who have responded negatively if you dare question the status quo. We can keep this discussion going, Im open for a civil conversation, but I know you wont, because its easier to ignore it. Just like how its easier to affirm these "feelings" rather than find the root of the issue and face it upfront.
